Her movie LOL is being crowned by numerous critics as one of the worst movies of this year. So no, She doesn't count.

I would also like to nominate Jonah Hill into this discussion. In most of his movies he's just there to me.

Tom Cruise was brilliant as Frank in the movie "Magnolia". Perhaps he shared common traits with that character to make it work so well, but I wouldn't call him overrated as an actor based on that performance alone.

He did good in a few other movies, most of which I never cared for. He's very good at playing borderline narcassistic pricks which should be his typecast by default.

I think he's far better than most of the actors that people mentioned on here, but I do think he's overrated. Didn't want to go with an obvious choice like Megan Fox who's never been lauded for her acting skills.

Tom Hanks is a good one that's already been mentioned. He's had a few solid performances under his belt, but never anything i've ever considered as being groundbreaking or awe inspiring.

I have to honestly ask how people could nominate Johnny Depp. He plays the most diverse characters ever. You could literally place him in any role and he makes it work. He's that type of actor that people love to hire because he can do just about anything, and he is good in every role. Everyone has their own opinion, I respect that, but, I just heavily disagree with Depp being overrated. You don't have to like the movies he is in, or even like the man himself, but, he's a brilliant actor.
