Captain America sucked big time. Both versions of it.

This. It's a decent film (better than TDKR) and it paved the way for TDK and the already mentioned TDKR... Captain America (2011) should've been more about the WW2, they forced everything too fast so he could jump into Avengers. For me Cap's true place is in WWII and he should've had at least two movies of him fighting Nazi/Hydra.

I liked Captain America. More than The Avengers.

Yes, I know. Let the shock and awe come my way.

Damn, now that is a shock! I found Captain America to be a disappointment. I was expecting some pretty sweet action scenes but they were all just montages of them. It also just felt kinda boring to me, not something I'd want to watch again. Also that part where they have Chris Evans' face on a small dudes body, yeah, that freaked me out.

Still, Hugo Weaving was awesome as ever.

Re: Top 15 Best & Top 15 Worst Comic Book Based Movies

Captain America was a welcomed surprise. Not as much of a surprise as Thor was, but enough of a sleeper to where I found it to be quite good. Avengers...man. I don't know what to say. That flopped hard with me. I was so disinterested from the start. I just didn't care for any of it at all. It's not bad on the level of Green Lantern, although I won't call it a good movie by any stretch. Overrated Hollywood garbage is my personal analysis. I know I'm far and away with getting a crew to back me up on that, but that's not a problem. If tons all over the world loved it, then cool. Did its job. I'll stick with plenty more comic book to movie adaptations.

Re: Top 15 Best & Top 15 Worst Comic Book Based Movies

Agreed with Thor. That was a massive surprise for me, couldn't believe Branaugh could actually make an awesomely fun Comic Book movie and it's one of my favourites, EVER! The only things I didn't really care about in The Avengers were Hawkeye and Scarlett. But I loved the interplay between all the cast members; Iron Man was top notch as usual and the fights between Hulk and Thor were hilarious. Hulk having the 3 best moments in the movie for me, which again, was a surprise.

I thought Thor, Captain America and The Avengers were even worse than Nolan's overated exposition-fest Batman movies.

You mean the one where Drago had to save a bus load of kids, from an Asian woman who's master plan was reverse sweatshop laboring?

It's best left unmentioned.
