Re: Top 15 Best & Top 15 Worst Comic Book Based Movies
Good list.
Except I'd put GI Joe: Rise of Cobra on the good list because it's the live-action GI Joe movie that I wished for as a kid so many times while playing with my Joe figures.

Too many in the superhero sub-genre. I'm pretty sure I've seen you jizz for Oldboy. You know that counts right?

No Watchmen on either list for TripleG. If Watchmen leaves you indifferent, then it's more of a failure than I realized.

Honestly, I didn't think Watchmen was bad. I walked out of the movie thinking "It could have been better, but it could have been ALOT worse too". Watchmen is very hard to adapt to the big screen. Personally, I think the best way to do it would have been an HBO miniseries, but for what it is, I enjoyed Watchmen. They made Rorschach awesome, so that made me happy.
Could have used a giant squid though...

I know I'll have Thor much higher up my list than you have it. I really fucking enjoyed that movie, alot, and I've never really read any of the comics, or watched TV shows, about him. I really was pleasantly surprised by it. One of my favourite Marvel films.

Thats exactly what it needed to be.
Still doubt it would make my #1 though despite I loved it. Batman Begins is probably my #1 comic movie. A History of Violence would be up there too.

Re: Top 15 Best & Top 15 Worst Comic Book Based Movies
Oh Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. That one actually slipped my mind, but yeah, it is pretty fun. I saw in and theaters and thought "the fuck?" but damn if it didn't work. I haven't read the graphic novels though, which is probably why I didn't think of it, but I should get on that.
