JGL is one of, maybe the best young actor going out there these days but i'm in the camp that doesn't get the Batman vibe from him and think hes more suited to play Nightwing. That being said I don't have a huge problem with it either. Also I don't think the Nolanverse Bats fits in with a Justice League movie.

I don't see JGL as Batman as well but let's face it, IT CAN WORK! :P for real, I mean I remember when I first heard that Ledger would play Joker, I was like "Well this is gonna suck" after watching TDK I was blown away by Heath's performance, I believe JGL could pull that off as well. He could be a decent "younger" Bruce Wayne.

I can't see him as Batman, but I'm not going to make full judgement on it just yet, it could work. If they do make him Batman there are a few things that they NEED to do.

1) Don't just pretend like TDK trilogy didn't happen. Continue from there.
2) Don't have Bale in the movie. Bale is done. Bruce Wayne is done, he's dead. At least that's what everyone thinks.
3) This one goes along with #1, don't have JGL be Bruce Wayne. He is who he is from TDK trilogy, continue with that. He's the new Batman.

If they do those things, I could get behind it. But I think they'd still need to do a movie of just JGL as Batman, him learning to be Batman and stuff like that. They can't just thrust him right into The Justice League.

Funny that people are saying he should be more like Dick Grayson/Nightwing...

Dick did pretty great as Batman a few years ago. Arguably one of the best periods ever for Batfamily titles.

The problem with that is the Justice League will probably go with the "Avengers" type of seriousness which means the Batman in JL movie will probably be more like Burton's version. Nolan's Batman's universe is too reality-based to bring in Superman, Flash and other superstrong or fast heroes.
