For the Justice League movie to work, it needs to be about Batman having a plan for everything and being overpowered as fuck

For that to happen, you need Bruce

That being said, Superman and Batman in the same movie has the potential to break the internet in half

Yeah, I don't believe I would buy him as Batman, but I'll have to see it before I make any real judgement.

I just can't picture him playing Batman after Bale's version...

Guys he's a professional actor. He's paid to play the part he's hired to play. It's not like Batman is King Lear.

So Redead you're saying Justice League needs Adam West Batman. I'm cool with that.

I remember people were furious over Heath Ledger being cast as Joker. JGL is a very talented actor. I think he would be fine.

JGL as Batman seems like a stretch, but who knows maybe he could pull it off.

As much as I love the Marvel films and the Avengers, I'd probably

even harder for Justice League and a collective DC Universe film continuity.

He seems more like a Nightwing than Batman but I'll wait and see. Excited that its actually gonna happen though. I love Marvel alot more than DC due to Marvel having the Silver Surfer but a Justice League movie would be epic. Just dont understand why they couldnt do what Marvel did and have a film for each member before the team up.

Just hoping this is really Batman. Loved the Nolan movies but the lack of batarangs and the hundreds of martial arts Bruce knows was noticable for me atleast lol.

So...fake Batman becomes a permanent Justice League member, instead of real Batman? Or are they just erasing Nolan's trilogy from their continuity and having JGL play the new Bruce Wayne?

I really think JGL could pull off and be a credible batman BUT, if this WAS to tie in with the Nolan films and include someone like Gary Oldman as Gordon, then it's impossible for him to be Batman as he has already been established as Robin, or in the very least obviously not Batman.

They could have him don the cape and be Batman, but wont be Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne has to be Batman in this film otherwise it would be pointless having batman in it.

Maybe it could work if that's how it began and Christian Bale came back as Batman too for a cameo. Bale could do an Iron Man inspired cameo as Bruce Wayne, but allow JGLs character to don the cape. It's interesting.

I don't think there's any way to question Joseph Gordon Levitts acting ability to pull off Batman, he could always bulk up for the role, but it just wouldn't make sense without Bruce Wayne. Either A) Bale cameo or B) Brand New start and JGL is Bruce Wayne.

Either way, it's interesting.

have no idea how anyone could be ok with this if this happens. JGL looks like more of a BATBOY than a batman. Batman should NEVER look like hes in his early 20's. Batman = Badass. Young =/= Badass.

To be fair, it's credit to Gordon-Levitt that he is only 7 years younger than Bale and looks about 20 years younger. I think he would make a better Robin due to his look, but I think he would, on an acting scale, make a decent Batman.

If JGL was Batman though, I would want them to relinquish any character traits or actual characters from TDK trilogy, it just wouldn't fit. It would be epic if it was Bale, but as Robin has already been shown, him playing Batman is a bit... Outlandish.
