The Dark Knight

10/10.

I got so fed up with seeing commercials for The Dark Knight Rises that I had to watch the previous film to cope.

Nouvelle Vague.

Blue Velvet
Incredible film. Like a Hitchcock mystery thriller but messed up in the brain. Great characters and a familiar story, but with a psychotic twist. Hopper is amazing, get the sense of pure evil from him whenever he's on the screen. Really enjoyable despite some of it's very dark themes. The tension builds throughout to the great third act and the descent into this evil world that Jeffery takes is brilliant. So good. 9.5/10

First Wild at heart and now Blue Velvet. Are you on a David Lynch kick or something?

I rewatched Dante's Inferno An Animated Spic just recently with my cousin.

Ulfric Stormcloak; not a racist, not a megalomaniac, not a savage, but a hero with heart & ambition.

All hail to Ulfric you are the High King
In your great honor we drink and we sing
We're the children of Skyrim and we fight all our lives
And when Sovngarde beckons everyone of us dies

We drink to our youth to the days come and gone
For the age of oppression is now nearly done

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Imposter. Anybody else seen it?

Spoiler for Crazy:
What a crazy situation. I had never heard of this before.

As I was watching it, I thought it was a ridiculous work of fiction. I knew it couldn't be real because the actors seemed so over the top, it seemed like a story that could not be true, the music and production of it all and then... BAM! It's real. They aren't actors. The twist of the knife where The Imposter comes to believe the reason he got away with it was because the family killed the boy is startling. As a work of fiction, it's too much, but as fact it's incredibly interesting.

He even tried to do it again afterward.

What does anybody else think about this movie? Was it real or not?
