He wanted to make more money off of kids so he put a good portion of the movie on a planet with Teddy Bears.
I've heard rumors that originally it was supposed to take place on Kashyyyk, the home world of the Wookiees.

Yeah, Lawless was bad. Such a shame considering the cast, but they had nothing to work with. It felt like a mess and it had no flow to it.
Setting it on the Wookie planet would have been better, but I'm not sure by how much. loads of Wookies sounds really annoying too.

They did it in Revenge of the Sith, but that movie blows goats. The Endor parts aren't that bad actually, it's just the Empire losing to a primitive tribe of Teddy Bears is terrible. I mean Han Solo, Chewie, Leia, etc are awesome, but are they THAT awesome?

Hunger Games
Awesome arena, lovely slow build to start, hit and miss action scenes and a very good performance from Jennifer Lawrence. Also had some good political subtext and top visual effects. Not overwhelmed but very impressed.
8/10

Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Yeah Hunger Games was solid. Definitely liked it more than I thought I would.
@ MrMister, that's the thing, when you see Stormtroopers getting taken out by tiny fucking stones it becomes so bad it's actually laughable. What the fuck does that armor do? FUCK! Sometimes I think Lucas is genuinely mental. Still, love everything else that happens that's not on Endor.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Cashback
Surprising loved this film. Well directed and cast. The first 20 minutes were about this guy who broke up with his girlfriend of 3 years and how he was dealing with it. I am someone who broke up with a girl after 3 years and the emotions he was dealing with and the experiences were so spot on which is why I think I liked this movie so much. Also I loved the main characters friends which to me showed a more realistic life among students then the shitty inbetweeners that are supose to be so realistic.
Only two problems: 1 - sometimes it felt they were just showing nudity to appeal to horny teens. 2 - Every female that went into the supermarket that the main character works at was a supermodel... realism?
Oh yeah it has nudity in it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Wild At Heart is really great
For an essay.
F for Fake, This is the last movie Orson Welles made before past away, and is fuckin amazing. Was kinda sad knowing that he has the potential to experiment like this and never do it.
The star here is the editing, the movie is a kind of documental about frauds but the movie itself is a fraud, you are able to see in every take montage tricks. The Picasso dialog is simple mesmerizing.
Juventude em Marcha Top 3 at least from the last decade. Pedro Costa is probably one of the best and most important current directors

YES! YES! YES! I thought there were so few of us who think that TDKR is overrated. Honestly, it's an entertaining film, Bane was pretty cool and I like Batman movies BUT honestly the script was a mess, they ruined Bane's voice by making it clearer and while BB and TDK were more or less pretty realistic the dumbness of TDKR was hilarious. I mean trapping all the police forces in the sewers? Really? And BTW TDK is the best movie in the trilogy followed by BB, storywise TDKR is nowhere near those two.
Lockout
Guy Pearce was awesome in this one. The movie itself was pretty entertaining for a dumb action film. Don't expect too much if you're gonna watch it though.
7/10

The Dark Knight Rises
Loved the action, story was pleasant, I guessed the ending, and Anne Hathaway was fucking hot. Pretty awesome and fitting finale to a brilliant trilogy.
