Really, and the Ewoks weren't a problem? I sill really like the film and it has some amazing scenes (some of the best of the trilogy, the scenes with Luke, Vader and The Emperor are amazing) but the Ewok stuff and the stuff on their planet is far too kiddy. It's like Lucas thought the second was too dark so wanted to make up for it or something.

I watched Lawless and The Dark Knight Rises. Both were underwhelming. I still like The Dark Knight Rises, but it's really overrated here on this forum. Lawless is bad.

He wanted to make more money off of kids so he put a good portion of the movie on a planet with Teddy Bears.

I've heard rumors that originally it was supposed to take place on Kashyyyk, the home world of the Wookiees.
