Watched and enjoyed Wild Bill and Seven Psychopaths in the past few hours.
Both really good films, recommend them both. Wild Bill is a cliched British film about a man who, after getting out of prison, is trying to reconnect with his two sons and not fall back into his old ways. Although, as I mentioned, very cliched and a bit obvious, the acting is stellar for the most paart.
Seven Psychopaths has a fantastic performance from Sam Rockwell. Stars Colin Farrel, Woody Harrelson and Christopher Walken, too. Really enjoyed it, some of the dialogue is the best I've heard in the past few years. Definite a watch.
Just watched 'Safety Not Guaranteed'. A fun sci-fi comedy/drama that also has a lot of mystery about it. Very well cast. For any fans of Parks & Recreation I'd especially recommend it since it stars Aubrey Plaza who plays April in that show. Surprisingly, it examines human relationships rather well and hits home.
I loved this movie, it was so fucking weird and funny. If you have the chance to see it I can't recommend it enough.
I haven't seen the film, but the book the film is based on is one of my favourites of all time. I'd highly recommend reading that. I'm actually currently reading the sequel - 'This Book Is Full Of Spiders'. That's highly recommended too.
