Avengers Assemble

The first half of the film was quite good, but the New York battle scenes were boring and it never felt like the Avengers were in any danger.

Yeah, I think that film is overrated a lot.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

First of all, at the people trying to dissuade me from watching this movie. Taste is subjective, people. It was fantastic, every scene including the ones where he doesn't pic up the ax. I also when Miss Mary Elizabeth Winstead was on screen. 10/10

Just re-watched Revolutionary Road. It's really fantastic. DiCaprio and Winslet are at the top of their game. Not a happy film by any means, but frighteningly real.

Agreed, the movie is great all the way through. Seen it a half dozen times, gets better every time.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Season of the Witch (2011)

Really good movie, borders on being a horror film. Like the banter between Cage and Perlman. Nice gothic, creepy atmosphere. Surprisingly brutal despite the PG-13 rating though the material does deal with a plague. 8/10

Re-watched Abe Lincoln: Vamp Hunter. Still fantastic, probably cracks my top 20 films. 10/10
