"The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford" (2007)

The most underrated movie ever. Definitely goes to my top5. This is a masterpiece for sure. Yes, it's quite slow and yes if you're a modern viewer (which means you have the attention span of a fish) you're not going to like it, but this is true cinema. Amazing film.

10/10

In my top 10 movies ever. I adore it.

Midnight Cowboy
Amazing film. Voight and especially Hoffman are brilliant. The dream-like sequences and flashes of memories are so well done and the whole film is edited to perfection. The themes are great, and the soundtrack fits so well into everything. Managed to be sad and uplifting at the same time too which is always a bonus when dealing with certain themes like this film does. The scene on the bus towards the end when Hoffman's character manages to laugh at his situation was genuinely moving and quite inspirational. Loved it. 9/10

INLAND EMPIRE

Yes, it has to be capitalized according to Lynch. Anyway, this is an amazing, incredible, fascinating, hypnotic masterpiece of a movie. It's complex and full of overlapping themes, and I admit I was lost on a few occasions, but that doesn't matter at all, it adds to the magic and the mystery of it all. It's disturbing and frightening at times, but it ended up being a completely soothing and uplifting experience. I adored this film, it's a piece of art and might be my new favourite movie once I've let it all sink in. AMAZING! 10/10

Got to say I'm pretty damn excited to see Django Unchained, a fantastic cast across the board. Samuel L Jacksons character really seems like he could become one of the greater villains in film. Just thought I'd get that out of the way.

Pirates of the Cribbean: On Stranger Tides

6.5/10

It's nothing amazing, pretty un-realistic and it's something we've all seen before but hey, at the end of the day, it's a fun movie, and that's all that matters really.

I will never get bored of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, its just a wonderful character portrayed wonderfully by a wonderful actor. Also, Rush as Barbossa is another fantastic point about the movie, Barbossa is really starting to go toe to toe with Jack over star of the movie.

Nothing amazing, but a great, fun bloackbuster that will always be a fun watch.

Blue Streak

Always been a "guilty pleasure" film for me. Eh, screw that. Not even a guilty pleasure. It makes me laugh. Still some good stuff after all these years. Needed a nice little comedy break.
