I don't think I've ever done before but for Citizen Kane I would gladly make the exception.

Darkroom (2013)
There was nothing in this movie I liked. For a thriller/slasher film it did not provide any suspension or tension. The slasher parts of the film were severely disappointing. The characters are not in the slightest interesting and the same can be said about the abysmal acting and whatever little plot was made in this poorly made mundane film. 1/10

Catch That Kid (2004)
Is it a believable and realistic film? Perhaps not. Gimmicky? Yeah. This film is about a girl played by Kristen Stewart (there's some emotion) who is very talented in climbing and pretty much uses her talent alongside two other friends to heist a bank in order to accumulate enough money to pay off for her father's operation. It was good to see children's toys being used as weapons and upgrades on go-karts. The characters however, were pretty annoying and weak as well as the plot and the sub plot of adding the protagonist's little baby sibling and the love triangle. It was tolerable. 5/10

Gigi (1958)
This musical gave me happy vibes through its rich and colourful scenery of Paris and the way that the songs were sung with joyful smiles. Yet, at the same time my subconscious is reminding me of events that should be portrayed as creepy. The film is about a girl named Gigi (almost pronounced as she-she) that is raised by her grandma and aunt whom are part of the middle class of society. Gaston and his uncle are adults and are playboys. Oh! now, I remember where I got a little freaked out, the uncle was singing a song about little girls with a very happy smile on his face. Um... either way, it's a good movie with nice costumes and settings and it questions about the upper echelons of society on their depiction of marriage, love and romance. Geez... and I thought this film was heading towards pedophilia from the way the story was going, thank goodness it wasn't... I hope. 7/10

Princess Yang Kwei-Fei (1955)
The DVD title names it "The Empress Yang Kwei-Fei" and it's original title is "Yokihi". This movie directed by Kenji Mizoguchi is based on a tale from the Chinese dynasty. The emperor is distraught after the death of his wife and as a way to comfort him, his family finds him a lady that then becomes his concubine wife. Soon war wages on between the Chinese civilization and the two lovers have to overcome obstacles. The costumes are nice, it's stylish and the scenery and tone is vibrant with rich colour. There are nice sounds and music played by the harp and it witnesses Chinese culture in the form of their celebrations and dancing. It has a noble ending and I enjoyed it. 8/10

The Great Gatsby - Average at best.

Thor: The Dark World - Definitely not the best superhero movie that I've seen, but it was a solid movie nonetheless. (The after credit scene has made me even more hyped for GotG )

Gravity - 3.5/5

Thought it was a decent movie, but wasn't as good as people were raving on about it. Shorter than I suspected aswell.
