Gone with the Wind. N/A

Oh my fucking God, this is one long ass film. I fell asleep and stopped watching it midway through. Clearly, you have to be in a clear mindset to watch all of the film, and I just wasn't that focused on the premise of the film. Maybe next time.

Rewatched Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Alan Rickman hamming it up for a whole movie is WIN.

A Night at the Roxbury

(10/10)

Its was a pretty dumb movie but it was awesome and hilarious. I know it wasn't a big movie but I thought it really a goofy movie. And plus What is Love is stuck in my head and I can't stop bobbing my head.

Well, this made up for the sham that was MIB II. Another wildly fun flick from the year. Flew on by.

Predators

Even though I still can't take Adrian Brody that seriously as an action hero type of guy, he seemed to pull it off with relative effect. It was a pretty decent movie, with some interesting characters thrown in. Nice little cameo from the nutter Lawrence Fishburne. Also I laughed hard at the Asian bloke running then stopping in the middle of the field to have a sword fight with a Predator, and he still manages to inflict damage on the thing...

Spawn (1997)

I constantly see "Worst Comic Book/Superhero Movies" that DON'T include this movie. I am going to assume that is because this movie came & went so fast in an era where the internet hadn't quite become what it is now, so it just died a quick death. Hell, I had never seen it before until last night.

But trust me, you want to talk about worst of the worst when it comes comic book movies, this movie is in the top (or is it bottom?) 5 ever.

I was just stunned by how bad it was. This movie completely missed the mark for what Spawn is supposed to be about. It is supposed to be dark, gory, & atmospheric. This movie was just straight up campy. It was PG-13, so that right there tells you they missed the mark (though I hear there is an R-Rated Director's Cut...I can't imagine it would solve all the other problems though). I would call the CGI effects dated, but quite honestly, they would have sucked even back in 1887. I mean WOW! I've seen commercials from the same time period with better visual effects. That might be the worst CGI I have ever seen in a movie. You think of how cool things like Malbolgia & Violator would look and then prepare for disappointment because they look like absolute shit. And probably the worst part of the movie is The Clown who is just insufferably annoying. Try to imagine Jar Jar Binks if he were fat & evil, and you'd basically have The Clown. There are also story and acting issues all throughout. This movie is just a mess.

3/10

EDIT:

OK, you need proof of how awful the Spawn movie is....I found this.
