Action that goes on too long.

All action movies need is an engaging plot and I'm good to go. Don't wanna have to handle gun fights, broken arms, & a drug lord's building exploding for the hell of it. I've seen enough Steven Seagal movies.

Rock of Ages

7/10.

I'm usually a sucker for musicals. No different here. Curried favor with me quickly busting out a bunch of songs I'm familiar with and love. Some elements were very over the top. One plot turn for example made no sense. It happened and then it didn't come into play the rest of the movie. It was weird. As if they did it only to forget about it. Maybe to get a laugh. Tom Cruise in general portraying a late 80's rock God was humor in of itself. It's TOM CRUISE after all. This isn't Chicago or something, but if you dig musicals or this era of music, well I'll recommend.

Spoiler for Rock of Ages:
It was Alec Baldwin & Russel Brand's character's being in love with each other. Performed their song, kissed, then next scene. When they showed up again there was nothing hinting or shown of it. If you went to the bathroom and came back you would have figured nothing changed. It was goofy & unexpected. I'll give it that.

Kill List (2001).

Interesting stuff. I really enjoy these types of films, interesting premise, no idea what's going to happen next or what is going on. Films that require thinking afterwards to realize stuff is cool.

Skyfall was one of the better movies I saw at the Theater this year. I enjoyed Argo & The Avengers more and thats it. Its on par with Casino Royale IMO

Its nothing like that, other than each movie seems to have to have an obligatory car or motorcycle chase scene. If you liked MP:GP you'll like the Bourne movies. I'd rank Identity = to MP:GP and Supremecy & Ultimatum above it.

Also those movies are the only thing keeping Moby relevant other than his resemblance to the Dean from Community.

saw Amour today

Haneke has become one of the creepiest bastards alive, this was disgunting in so many levels. I knew that probably will not like it but after watching it i promise to myself not seeing a Haneke movie again.

I don't understand how this man is the same who make Funny Games

Dazed & Confused - 9/10

I've seen this probably three dozen times, if not more. Easily one of my favorite movies of all-time and number one in my books as far as stoner films goes. Plus, I absolutely love the soundtrack too.

Seems to be the clincher there. On my list. I'll hit them up when I finish my 2012 movie project. (or if I REALLY want to watch 'em)

lolz. Dean Pelton. He is Moby.

The Five Year Engagement

3/10.

More like The Five Year Movie. So boring. Did this really have to go 2 hours? Didn't help things that the funniest part occurred within the final 10 minutes. Which was the great Elmo/Cookie Monster dialogue. The beauty of Alison Brie (with an English accent mind you) & Emily Blunt were enough to make me care. A good cast, but such a draining story/movie. Ted was much more engaging to my surprise. I think I know how some people feel when Apatow produced/directed flicks drag. This was the only one which has for me. It's not a quality you want to have while watching a movie. Not at all. I'd wager to say boring almost comes off as a biggest failure than bad. If a movie is bad you can revel in its CRAP. IE Showgirls. Or many other choices.
