I'm not even sure the character is really that great to begin with. He's paint-by-numbers and not all that layered like the Bruce Wayne character is.

I'm pretty sure no one involved in making TDK had Oscar glory on their mind. If Ledger hadn't passed away he probably wouldn't have gotten nominated and most people would be complaining about it being one of the biggest snubs in Oscar history.

Don't understand your love for Bridges in Iron Man. Downey Jr. pretty much carried the entire movie.

Downey was the Ledger to JB's Eckhart. The latter two were real backbone of their films that got zero pub because of their over-the-top douchey colleagues.

I think you really don't understand much about the Joker character. But everyone has a right to their opinions, even if they are unpopular ones.

I know the Joker quite well. Please stop with the simple statements and back up your claims. Joker is a simple villain and doesn't have the layers of Loki or Walter White.

Heath Ledger didn't deserve the Oscar????? Look at his performance and then look at him in real life. POLAR opposites. Heath disappeared in that character.

He made me feel uncomfortable, yet I couldn't look away.

I can act like a respectful, charming, generous shy boy and have you believe that I'm not very forward and direct. Does that mean I deserve an Oscar too?
