thank you. saw it on IGN but couldn't find the red band trailer anywhere so I could post it. Looks fucking scary IMO. from her cutting off her arm, to the end part with the chick cutting her tongue, Jesus! I will definitely be seeing this. for the record, I didn't like the original Evil Dead, just the sequel.

This will probably be fucking awful if I'm being honest. Looks like the same shitty horror remake we've been seeing over the last 5+ years, with all the personality and uniqueness of the original ripped out and replaced with body count fodder and more violence. Fuck that.

I love the first 2 movies of Evil Dead. But this, this looks like it's going to be another shitty horror remake. It seems to lack the uniqueness and charm of the original two. This just seem to be just over-the-top gore. The original made it seem like it was in another dimension even though it was just a cabin in woods. It was weird, trippy, and fucking scary as all hell. But with that said, I may still give the remake a chance.

Video in the OP seems to have been taken down already, but I found one and posted it below, dunno if it was the same as in OP, but it's pretty fucking gory for a trailer.

Looks like they've kept the tree rape scene, but I don't know if I can get emotionally invested in it without Bruce Campbell. I'll deffo be checking it out though.
