Damn, Tom Hanks!! He is either the main-character or semi-main character in 4 of the movies on my list. You emotional son of a bitch Tom Hanks!!
But the one movie or television show guaranteed to make me shed a tear is:
Roseanne - Season 9/Episode 24 "Into That Good Night (Part 2)" - I don't care what anybody says but I loved this show as a kid and now as an adult it reminds me of growing up in a blue-collar family home. But what brings a tear to my eye is John Goodman, he sorta looks like my dad and he acts and talks just like my dad and finding out about his fate brings a tear to my eye every time.
