I agree. Here are all these realistic characters that you can kind of relate to, and then there is her being silent and killing with a sword. It really is like a bad anime character.

Ninjas aren't black. Ninjas do talk...whenever the fuck they want to. They're ninjas. If she was a ninja, she'd have throwing stars, smoke bombs, blowgun, etc. Duh. How many flips has she done? Obviously not a ninja.

Yeah not a fan of Michonne. She doesn't tell Rick's group where she is or that her friend ANDREA is at Woodbury or that there is a mad guy called MERLE there too. And what is her motivation for attempting to torture/kill the Governor. He hasn't done anything to her... other than giving her a place to stay for a while and letting her go when she wanted to (although I guess he did try hunt her down)

She see's the Gov as a threat, and he also sent Merle & other men out to kill her. If someone sent a person out to kill me, i'd be pissed too. I don't know if she knows Merle's name either.

I agree that she should have mentioned Andrea though.

I think Michonne will be 'humanised' so to speak in the 2nd half of the season and maybe season 4 (if she's around then) because she's joined the group and i think she now trusts them. She's obviously not too quick to trust anyone, and i think that was the same with the Gov. The fact that he didn't let her have her sword back, the bullet holes. She didn't fully trust him. When she met up with Rick's group, her experiance with the Gov didn't make her trust them too quick either. I also think that she doesn't like being kept prisonner and not have her sword, and thats what Rick did at first. But after going on the woodbury mission with them, i think she has grown to trust them, even though i don't think they fully trust her.

I like Michonne, but i can see the reason why people don't. I just think we should see if the character develops at all during the 2nd half of the season. I remember seeing people not liking Carl, but now people seem to like him. People who dislike Michonne might do the same thing.

If I was in a world where black people die ALL THE TIME, I'd wouldn't trust anyone either. It's really tough being black in the horror genre. Only LL Cool J has survived the experience. Keith David did ok for himself too, but when you fight The Thing, you can't actually win.

I actually still dislike Carl allot,And I'll probably keep disliking Michonne if she keeps up being this painful to watch.

Michonne is a cool character but I'm not sure if she fits in with the tone of the show. Although using a sword does make sense since it's silent.
