Re: The Walking Dead Season 3 discussion thread
Something that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense is how the walkers run around in massive herds in the wild. Herbivores run around as packs, because it offers a measure of protection against their predators. Predators in the wild go around solo or in small packs, because who wants competition, or to be killed in your sleep?
And while walkers are former humans, they seem to have been very clearly dropped down to just animal level intelligence and bare instinct. I find it to be a bit of a stretch that hundreds of them would shamble around together, looking for the few kills that seem to be left. And then join up with even bigger packs. Especially out in the countryside. It's a bit more believable in Atlanta, which was densely populated and has hidey holes. But out in the wild? Doesn't make sense.
Call Kenny Loggins. Cause you're in the Danger Zone.
