I think Maggie will be next to go along with her dad, I dunno why but I think it makes sense if they are going to kill off anymore major characters besides the Governor & his clan.

But damn, I just figured Merl would go out fighting more before getting shot and like someone mentioned having Darryl be there to witness the Gov shooting him.

Look forward to next week's episode.

I'm more than positive there was a gunshot wound in his chest. Surely Daryl would have seen it and put two and two together. Maybe not, though.

The wound on Merle's chest is enough for Daryl to piece it all together.

Other than that scene with Daryl and Merle at the end the episode wasn't any good. Pretty much the story of the entire season so far. Mostly underwhelming with a few good bits here and there.

First things first: no Andrea always makes for a better viewing experience.

This was a very solid episode. I just find myself having a hard time enjoying it because of how awful the show has been lately. This and the Morgan ep have been the only truly good eps since they came back from the mid-season break. 2 out of 7 is not a good average. Even the premise for the episode is kinda fucked to begin with. I don't have enough suspension of disbelief to buy into Rick ever thinking the Governor would call a truce if he gave him Michonne. On the other hand, that is far from the worst plot device this show has thrown at me lately, so I am willing to give it a pass because the rest of the ep was good.

As far as Merle's death goes... I was one of the ones who had avoided seeing the spoiler photo of him as a zombie that is floating around. I didn't look to see what it was until after the ep. That said, I fully expected Merle to die because of how much screen time they gave him this ep. Even without seeing the spoiler, I knew anyways. This show has a bad habit of telegraphing who will die by giving them extra screen time. Axel; most recently. It happened with T-Dogg too. It's nice that Merle went out a hero. Gotta be the shortest face turn in history though lol

Default TWD S3 Finale: Who will die?

There is one episode left in Season 3 of The Walking Dead. Who do you think will die?

Try not to answer the question as who do you want to die. Cause then everyone would just vote Andrea. Try to answer the question as to who you think actually will die.

Just watched the recent episode,God fucking damnit...

Merle dying was both entertaining and depressing.I HATE that he's dead,He seems like a good guy who just doesn't know what he's doing,He's not a complete lunatic like Phil is.That scene were he went "I can't go back" with Michonne in the car is his character in a nutshell,Its obvious the guy didn't really enjoy being the black sheep but there wasn't much he could do after all that he's done so he decided to just do whatever and only come to regret it later on in life.I'm glad he died like a badass though,Would have sucked to see him die like an animal like Dale or Shane have and those two were my previous favourites so its nice to see a favourite of mine "Merle" die like a hero with his dignity.Daryl finding Merle was pretty sad,Pretty damn depressing if you ask me.I swear if they kill off Daryl my motivation to watch this show will be over,Daryl and Merle are the ONLY characters I give a shit about on this show and one of them just died.

In all,Good episode and I'm starting to like Michonne more and more now especially with her scenes with Merle which were very entertaining.Maggie and Glen can both go die,I really don't care about anybody else but Daryl and maybe Carol but yeah screw everybody else.

Pretty good episode, saddened by Merle becoming a walker, I honestly thought he was gonna be in the final showdown.

Also surprised at how badass The Governer is, he is portrayed differently to how he was in the comics. When I first saw The governer in the show he seemed more like Dr. Stevens than Rick.

'I ain't gonna beg, I ain't begging you.' Perfect last sentence for Merle.

MERLE!

My two favourite characters are now dead, first Shane, now Merle. I always felt like he was misunderstood and even though he had a rough edge, he still had good inside of him, which this episode proved. He's been pretty absent from the thick of things during the second half of Season 3, which I wasn't happy about, but I was fairly sure they'd kill him off in a forgettable way, so I'm very happy he got this send off.

Dramatically fitting end for Merle. He kinda went out a hero, but with a pretty useless, aggressive effort. It was good tactics to lure the Woodberries into trap and sniper them one by one during their own fire fight. But he should have concentrated more on the Governor.

I really liked the final scene, when Darryl caught up with his brother, just to find him a zombie. Pretty much sums up their family history. Darryl chasing after his brother to form the family he was never really given, but doesn't catch him in time, getting hurt once more.

It was the agreed meeting place with the governor and there were plenty fresh corpses (the zombies feasted upon). I think it's pretty obvious, that Merle went against the Woodberries and was killed.

Even if the wound is spotted theres no way for sure Daryl could know it was the Guv and not one of his henchmen, for it to become a personal thing between Daryl and The Guv they should have had him witness it first hand.

And i doubt they will kill off hersh and maggie yet keep the useless 2nd daughter who is there too sing and burp the baby... Next to go is hopefully Glen.
