I'm happy they killed him off, he was a boring character. I guess it's annoying that they spent time building him up only to have no payoff, but whatever, I didn't really want to see it anyway. I like the mob boss, though, it'll be interesting to see how they build him up as the main villain for the remainder of the season.

I remember when people were saying Louis would be the big bad for this season and that he'd cause a ton of troubles for Dexter that turned out to be false. However, the blood splatter from Louis' head might be overlooked by the guy cleaning it up. They did focus on his blood that dripped from his head. That could play a major factor later on
I would have preferred dexter/lewis as the main arc over dexter and the forced generic villain. plus with the way deb is dealing with the whole situation the direction doesn't seem to be going anywhere exciting. more of the same until the final season swerve/climax at ep. 12
Another good episode, Debs continuing to slowly move towards the 'dark side' and sympathise with Dexter, loving the Ukrainian mob boss, was a tad dissapointed to see Louis go, even though he didn't add much yet I thought it could've kept adding to the story (and yes it's pretty obvious that the blood on the boat will end up landing on Dexter), overall though am enjoying Dexter the most now since season 4 ended.
