Re: Dexter Season 7 (spoilers)
I really enjoy the direction of the stories. LaGuerta now knows that Dexter is the BHB, but she might not have enough evidence to bring him in. Especially since she recently brought in confirming evidence against Doakes. Additionally she believes, that Dexter killed Doakes. This might give her additional aggression.
I'm a bit sad, that Hannah and Deb can't co-exist. I like both characters. However, as long as Hannah is content being a killer, she actually is too much of a risk factor. I would understand, if she kills assholes who seriously threaten her in an immoral way. But she takes life much more often than that. Regardless if she actually poisoned Deb, a police man like Deb putting pressure on her fits her "code". As long as she doesn't change her kill rules, Dexter is not safe with her. The facts and reputation indicates, that she indeed tried to kill Debra. Personally I still don't believe it. Sadly, brilliant Dexter didn't had the idea to just use truth serum on his poison ivy.
Regarding LaGuertas trap Dexter really behaved stupid. He knew, that LaGuerta and Matthews were looking into him. But instead of being extra-careful or even setting his hobbies aside for a while, he went into the murder without much investigation... Maybe Estrada doesn't fit the code anymore? Maybe Estrada was released as an informant, which puts him under surveillance? - Really sloppy work by Dexter.
