This season is probably going to end with Deb killing LaGuerta to protect Dexter.
Probably. Next season revolving around LaGuerta being the main antagonist would be better than the rehashed killer shit even if the LaGuerta character sucks. Last season needs to make people question if Dexter is finally gonna be caught and locked up and introducing another Isaac type character isn't a great story arc to get to that destination. The whole supporting cast sucks though so there isn't an obvious Doakes type of character they can run that sort of story with. CYBORG DOAKES would regain my interest in this show though. That's kinda why I wanted them do something with Lewis because the final season needs something really big and someone's who a different type of threat to Dexter being caught. They'll probably focus all of the last season around Deb and Dex.
Oh hey look- it's the kids I was bitching about not being around last week! The bar scene was good, but something felt off about it, can't figure out what. What's her name (Angel's sister) looks pretty damn good in a small bikini. I approve! What they're doing with Deb seems so wrong and forced it's almost unbearable to watch sometimes.

Looks like Hanna will be killed off right now. Don't like it because she is the no. 1 reason for me to watch the show. LaGuerta is digging her own grave by continuing this investigation into Dexter. Like everyone else said, Deb will end up taking her out.
Speaking of Deb, I always knew that Jennifer Carpenter was a really bad actress but she took it to another level with that emotional scene with Dexter. Just painful to watch.

What still bothers me is that she's doing all this investigating on her own. At some point her boss (or her bosses boss) will go, "Hey, why is that Captain out checking on leads when we have guys like Quinn hanging around the station?" People at her rank just don't do that, they don't have the time, or the need. They can just tell people to look into things, and report only to her. It would look less suspicious than whatever she's doing now.

That does make more sense but the writers never let things like that get in their way.

Poor Quinn. I doubt he would ever investigate Dexter again #ScaredStraight Wonder if LaGuerta will ever find that one out.
