Re: Homeland Season 2

Exactly, IF there is a mole in the CIA it has to be the black boss guy (forgot his name). He took Cary out of her job when she was so close to figuring everything out, he also was the one to let Brody into the room with the guy and the razor blade.

i think the boss Esteves (i think) is too stupid to be a mole and get away with it.

Re: Homeland Season 2

if TNA and Vince Russo were writting this story than they would have some crazy twist like Carie being the mole or turned American.

Re: Homeland Season 2

If the Brody story is over after this season or next then they might as well just end the show. Don't think I would be interested in a new character for Carrie to focus on. Just wouldn't be the same. I love Carrie but I am more interested in seeing if Brody can actually make it higher up the chain.

As for The Wire comparison, Stringer was just one part of the game on that show. Brody is basically the entire game on Homeland.

Re: Homeland Season 2

I think the mole is probably someone we haven't been introduced too yet. Saul simply does not make sense and it'd be really out of character for him since like has been said, he ok'd the assasination/capture attempt.

I think they might switch the focus of the show to just terrorism in general instead of having Brody for the entire shows run, it'd be silly if he somehow escaped every time.

Re: Homeland Season 2

Don't think I would like the show as much if it focused on general terrorism. Wouldn't mind if Brody got caught and then Carrie focused on bringing down Abu Nazir. Would prefer the current terrorists sticking around rather than a new group being introduced. Just don't see that happening tho.

I was thinking that the Arab American CIA guy who partnered up with Carrie could have been the mole but that wouldn't be a shocking revelation. Saul and the CIA chief don't seem like likely suspects either. Would be better if it was someone we have yet to see.

Re: Homeland Season 2

It will be the bomb-maker. I bet the CIA finds out who he is and Brody has to get to him before they do.

Re: Homeland Season 2

Incredible episode. Ending was incredible. This show is incredible.

There's as many seasons in it as they want to do. Everything had doubts where the second season could go and there's been no drop off in quality or direction so far. Brody isn't the be all and end all anyway. There's Nazir, the other Americans working for him and the mole. Saul being the mole would be ludacris. That's a swerve for the sake of a swerve. Plus there's stuff you can do with Brody's family once he's gone as well.

Re: Homeland Season 2

I think it's possible that Saul could be the mole if you want to call him that. Other than Brody, he was the only other person to have direct contact with that prisoner before he sliced himself and what was up with the whole lie-detector thing last season with Saul? That just seemed awkward.
