Re: Homeland Season 2

Wow. What a another great season finale, season 1 had a great finale but this finale was just awesome, season 2 went out on a really high-note.

Really unexpected storyline for this episode which was perfect and had me glued to the television. I thought the whole episode would be about Quinn trying to assassinate Brody but instead he decided not to and then a surprise terrorist attack which had me like :shock then . It was a great idea to not have the terrorist attack happen until more than halfway through the episode.

Carrie and Brody while at the cabin had a conversation about Carrie's mother and how she left the family and how her sister hates her which I'm sure was just the framework for bringing in Carrie's mother next season.

Wondering what new villain will be introduced next season. They could get away with not introducing a new Nazir-ish type bad guy because it's such a great TV show.

Bummed out that the Homeland, Dexter, and Boardwalk Empire seasons have finished, my Sunday nights have opened up... at least until Walking Dead then Game Of Thrones and eventually Breaking Bad and Mad Men.

This finale was incredibly boring before the bomb. The only interesting thing to me was Quinn not killing Brody. He's the hit man with a heart.

Can someone explain to me why we had that hit and run sub plot with Dana and Walden's son?

Re: Homeland Season 2

quinn not killing brody was kind of dumb. i mean...that...is that a thing that would ever even possibly happen and then he ends it with I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU TOUCH HIM

i think it was better than the 2 episodes before it, and maybe ended the season on an okay note but it wasn't great.

saul isn't a terrorist. that'd be retarded given his whole character up until this point. they needed more than just carrie alive for next season and needed an excuse to get saul not dead.

oh and the flash drive could easily have been copied.

@ mrmister idk it was dumb as heck. but the lauder/mike suspect brody thing went basically nowhere either did it?

Is it wrong that I'm glad that the VP's kid got killed so we never have to deal with that part of the story again?

Call Kenny Loggins. Cause you're in the Danger Zone.

taught Dana how corrupt and unfair the world of politics was. also gave her an experience of killing someone and showed her tremendous regret over killing one person in an accident. where her father was going to blow up like a hundred people most of which were probably innocent.

producer pretty much said that on the interview i posted. also basically admitted they gave the family random storylines just to keep them as regular characters. Chris got the GOAT line where he predicted the unthinkable of Washington being up 5 on Miami. kid has a future in Vegas no doubt.

Re: Homeland Season 2

She didn't actually kill anyone though. She was just along for the ride. They spent a lot of time on a story that didn't actually tie into the main plot. That's forgivable if that story isn't absolutely fucking boring. But yeah, I guess to her she does see it as she killed that lady even if she didn't at all. That's a long ride to get to Dana relating to her dad.

And lol Faraday I had totally forgotten about that other sub plot pointing suspicion at Brody. I'm still in on season 3, but it needs to get good again fast.

Bring in F. Murray Abraham full time please.
