Wouldn't be that shocked if Brody is killed off. Nazir is dead, family is gone, Brody being an informant/double agent doesn't really mean much now, no chance at being VP anymore with Walden dead, etc. I know he's the star of the show but I just don't see what more they can do with his character.
Only character who they can't ever kill off before the very end is Carrie. Nazir's dead. If he isn't then that's just fucking stupid. The whole point of him dying was to give them the green light to tease killing Brody off for the finale.
Won't actually rage since I'm failing to care about anyone on this show these days. Something went wrong somewhere. It's just not working for me anymore.
latter half of s2 has been disappointing. i had problems w/ episodes 10/11 in particular i think.
why the FUCK was abu nazir chasing carrie like someone from a bad horror movie? why was he in america in the first place. the 'i don't want to hide' thing was stupid.
was the whole military thing his only plan? he's been bortrayed as a bit of a fucking idiot. I mean there's absolutely no reason he'd have stayed around the warehouse once the pacemaker was fucked with. surely a mean of his means/contacts would have a better way out.
it all just stinks of plot contrivance to let carrie 'be right'.
That's exactly what I was thinking during the awful GUYS WE HAVE TO SEARCH ONE MORE TIME scene...why is Nazir suddenly Michael Myers?
Also, why did the FBI guys split up? Why didn't the FBI guy with Carrie immediately call his buddies when they found the secret room. LOL a secret room wtf.
Also It's a bit of a strech to think that none of the fbi team could spot what Carrie did. And that the government wouldn't go all out with search dogs and such to find him.
Some of the stuff has been pretty far-fetched but I've still enjoyed the majority of the season. The Nazir stuff in the last episode was overly silly and too much like a goofy halloween film.
Read a great post somewhere else explaining how it feels like the writers are trying to align the character of the show with their 2 main characters, i.e completely crazy and changing focus in an instant. That's pretty accurate actually.
Well I think that makes up for the last few episodes. Estes, VP's son and a bunch of others killed off. Not sure which direction they'll take this, but I can't wait.
