hmmm for me I'd have to go with Freddy and possibly Pinhead.

Although if i'm going for most hilarious kill scene I'd have to go with The Leprechaun (gotta love killing someone with a pogo stick)

Yeah, Jason Voorhees is the iconic horror villain but this thread is incomplete without respect for Hannibal Lector.

That out of the way, I've got a personal fondness for The Candyman, Norman Bates and my beloved Pinhead.

I was going to say Hannibal Lector but I don't really see those movies as horror more thriller/psychological thriller.

Anyway, another villain who I thought was great was Mick Taylor in Aussie horror movie "Wolf Creek" John Jarrot was very convincing in that role especially since he's never played that kind of part before.
