Most reality tv is legit be it the real life stuff, big brother/real world, celebrity reality shows or whatever but the producers make drama up in some cases to make this shit interesting

Most of the actual pawn shop is dedicated to selling Pawn Stars merchandise now, and the staff featured in the show are hardly ever there. They cut off part of the shop and bring in the staff for filming, but the majority of the time they're nowhere to be found. Given the location of the show, it is safe to assume that some of the sellers are unknown actors, but I don't have a cite for this.
