So you like Batman Beyond eh? Get the Dark Knight Returns. It features a clint eastwood style Batman of the future

Hush is just an abortion. its the one comic i couldnt finish, even as a beginner

Loved Batman Beyond as a kid. That, Justice League and X-Men Evolution were my shit. Teen Titans was fun too.

Got a Barnes & Noble gift card that I haven't touched so I'm looking to make some purchases and the one near me usually has some nice prices.

Beyond has a strong Dark Knight Returns influence. Both feature an old and cynical bruce

If you like Joker, The Killing Joke is a must too

Oh yeah, you'd love Dark Knight Returns. There is no question. Read it at some point, but I'd read some of the other stuff recommended here first.

Thanks guys.

I've had a bit of free time recently and comics are something I've wanted to get into. Literally only own a Hulk graphic novel that a friend gave me and this Ghost Rider/Wolverine/Punisher issue that I haven't even read yet.

Well, Byre, Redead says he heard the Batman Beyond comic was decent so if you're interested buying it here's an amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Beyond-...=batman+beyond

There's also a Batman Beyond Unlimited series that is a digital comic ongoing, but there isn't a trade for it yet. You can buy the issues individually, though.
