its so slow moving a review for the trade actually complained that its too slow and wait for an omnibus

thats a first, a trade is so slow just wait until its collected in the omnibus. a matt fraction trade is apparently the equivalent of a bendis single issue, which is already considered pretty fucking slow

seriously, i think each comic SHOULD be able to stand on its own as an issue to some extent

why is matt fraction so highly regarded anyways? what did he write thats good? i know bendis has spider-man and daredevil

Anyways, Gillen is pretty good but I think its just difficult to make Ironman interesting. Mostly out of a pretty simple fact. Tony Stark is boring. Even Extremis made me feel Tony was boring. Hes just dull, and his character is so ill defined and his backstory is vague

I bought this trade, My Demons, which included the holy trinity of Ironman. He's at his AA meeting, Mandarin and some punks steal his technology, and his history is just so longwinded, boring and vague. Its supposed to be an exploration of Ironman's history but I dont understand it. The monologue just feels, shit. I dont understand Ironman, whats his motivation? For starters his movie guy conflicts with what I saw in Extremis

I agree. On a team Iron Man can be entertaining but his own book has been very boring. Only interesting parts have been the entire Demon in the Bottle storyline but other than that, pretty boring.
