Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

What parts are you reading? Just Final Crisis? FC + Superman Beyond? Batman RIP?

The best actual FC related stuff are Rogues' Revenge and Legion of 3 Worlds.

Is Superman: Earth One worth getting? Didn't see it on the list.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Earth One is okay. I hated it at first, but it's somewhat grown on me. It'a a fine Superman story that you can pick up w/o needing to read anything else.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

It's FUCKING terrible. A complete abortion of the character, even if it isn't canon.

If you want a great Superman origin story, read Superman: Birthright. If you want an amazing Superman story, read All-Star Superman.

If you want to read an Earth One book, there are only two so go with Batman, which is good.

All Star Superman made me go from hating Superman to loving him.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Nice to see my favorite company get acknowledged, even if its on a poll. Is anything from Image good? I stopped reading after the crap they did with Witchblade and Darkness

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Probably my last novels for a few months I'm ordering soon:

Batman: The Black Mirror
Venom Volume 1
The Ultimates: Ultimate Collection
Uncanny X-Force: Volume 1: Apocalypse Solution
Astonishing X-Men Volume 1

I'm thinking of one more. But I'm conflicted between Spidey, or Justice League. Thoughts?
