then again i guess you could say that about comics too

im not a huge fan of v for vendetta but ive always wanted to read it in black and white since apparently the original comics were published in black and white and the artist doesnt care for the coloring job

i dont think theres any way to do that though since dc's lawyers locked up every version that wasnt the Graphic Novel™ version
Well I saw the movie, and thought it was ok

But I wanna see the original again

None of that liberal hippie bullshit. I wanna see V as a hero just as bad as the villains. An Anarchist

Vertigo was great in the beginning then it became a place to do movie tretments now it barely exists.

At least they're still publishing Astro City!

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

FCBD is pretty dumb. The selection has gotten dramatically worse over the years. The only good stuff from I can see would be Judge Dredd Classics, Atomic Robo, The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys sampler (includes RIPD and Mass Effect sampler), and yeah...that's it.

But the best part of FCBD is that your LCS is most likely having the best deals on comics and graphic novels all year. Expect stuff like 40-60% off trades, buy 2 get 1 free, 25-75% off singles, huge discounts on old singles bins, 25-30% off statues/figurines, etc. Who knows.

The House of Mystery series I'm talking about is the one that relaunched in 2008.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

FCBD is really an excuse to go out and support your local comic book store, so go do that! You still are in America right?

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

yes

But i already support my LCS. I buy like 20 bucks average of comics per week and all my boxes from there

except for trades. I have a personal limit of only buying trades when theyre 40% off
