Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

World's most wanted is number 1?

WCW said that book is a great cure for insomnia and the slowest paced thing in the universe

Confession got SCREWED

you said "Ive been saying that for over a year."

In response to me saying

"comic books today sucked"

Constructive criticism is fine but I REALLY REALLY hate general sweeping statements of disdain. Which again is why I have the WWE section collapsed

There are some bad books today, pretty sure there hasnt been a competent issue of Superman for around 3 years now, Dan slott seems intent on alienating all Spider-man fans, but considering the absurd amount of money I'm dropping every month while STILL not buying other books that are critically acclaimed. I just simply cant get behind a statement like that

Perhaps its my fault, I phrased it wrong. Instead of saying comic books today sucked, I should have said "I could not find any of the monthlies I usually purchase today"

besides, the only guy whos pulls off being negative in a really funny way is WCW

Fair enough. I just hate the direction the industry is heading, at least in the mainstream sectors. Its fairly to akin to the early 90s and that is something the comic industry doesn't need to happen.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

I agree

Personally this constant barrage of events not to mention writers intentionally trying to piss off their readers bugs the fuck out of me

But there is still plenty to love

like Hawkguy

Im just glad Valiant is back. I never read the original run of the company, but what I've seen and herd looks good.

I have a few from Dynamite, mostly the Warlord of Mars Books and a couple from IDW. I fell out of Image after they messed up Witchblade and I tried to get into Aspen Comics, but it never really interest me
