Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

I haven't read anything pertaining to comics in a couple years, even then it was mostly Batman. So imagine my surprise when I found out that it had been rebooted. Grant Morrison's run of Dick Grayson as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin was IMO fantastic so to find out that it had ended the way it did was very disappointing. As much as I like Bruce Wayne, I'm tired of him. Batman is so much more than just Bruce Wayne, there's a whole cast of great characters to use so it bugs me that they ruined something with so much potential.

No but I was planning to. Is it worth reading or does it get ruined by the New 52?

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Not sure who it was, but whoever recommended the new Hawkeye comic, thanks. GREAT recommendation!

I picked up My Life As A Weapon and i love it. Can't wait to track down the issues from #7 on.

I looked it up and they definitely changed some stuff for the worst. Besides Dick and Damian being tossed out like a bad habit, another thing I hate about this reboot is that Cassandra Cain (Black Bat) doesn't seem to exist anymore. Her character was great and she even had her own book at one point, don't understand why DC would do this. New 52 was a bad decision.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

That isn't even the worst part. Secret Six was cancelled and Stephanie Brown and Wally West are still MIA.
