Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

i reread that first justice league story btw and i didnt mind it. its just a big dumb action movie and its got some nice jim lee art. if you go into it thinking that the appeal is jim lee drawing all the major dc characters beating each other up it delivers.

a shame he was drawing the new costumes

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

I've been reading Saga of the Swamp Thing lately. I'm enjoying it. I don't know much about Swamp Thing but I've liked it so far. Anybody else read this series?

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Winter Soldier and anything written by Ed Brubaker

There's also Marc Gugenheim's run, but im not sure if its available in trade

Mark Waid had some good Captain America comics in the 90s

Honestly though, the best Cap stories are individual stories, appearances in other books, or in the avengers.
