Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Finished Walking Dead and wow wow wow.

Spoiler for :
tyrese dying was the worst for me. He was my 2nd fave character after Rick, was just an awesome character. So many freaking deaths to end this, the way the Governor was killed was awesome though.

BftC is fucking terrible except for the Secret Six tie-in.

Final Crisis is great, but make sure you've read Batman RIP and have some knowledge of CoIE and Infinite Crisis. Also some background on Barry Allen. DON'T go in expecting some massive Marvel style event with huge battles and big "aha, the heroes have arrived" moments. Its a Grant Morrison story, remember that. Also, don't skip the two-part Superman tie-in that is sandwiched in the middle of the trade. Forget the name of it but it is essential to understanding the ending.

As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...

in a green tunic, silver shield, and magic blade to stand against it.

Ah. Was wondering because I saw the book at my library and the graphics seemed good.

Hmm, read the summary for BftC, actually liked it.

Its fucking terrible. I'm sure the summary you read was better written.

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

Battle of the Cowl sure had one great summary.

As for Final Crisis, its one of my all time favourite books. Ive read it like 6 times

and I still dont understand most of it. Its damn near utter gibberish.

But goddamn I love that book

Have you read Legion of 3 Worlds yet?

Did you at least read Rogues' Revenge?
