Did anyone read the new Superman annual by Lobell. That did not get my hopes up of DC fixing that title. Superman was bitching about how he dislikes FLYING because it makes him feel lonely, and that he rather take the train because he makes him feel closer to people. What a bunch of bullshit. I understand that Superman's never fully being able to connect to people is a part of his character, or at least how many writers interpret him, but now they're just making him emo to the point of being back to him being unrelatable. You can fucking fly, Superman. Why the fuck are you bitching about that? Do you know how many of us would die to be able to fly? Here's a hint:It's fucking everyone. Seriously, you want to take the shitty, cramp, constantly delayed train system over fucking flying? As someone who lives in NYC, let me say that riding the train system is the best way to get human interaction/connection. If you really need to be around people then use the free time you get from being able to fly to work in a matter of seconds to go to your local park and talk to some joggers, or to some elderly people playing chess. Jesus, I can't believe Superman was bitching about flying.
