Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

nope, he just talked

though banner did remind me ALOT of his movie self for a while

Its odd, there was surprisingly little dialogue, but it made the comic so much more enjoyable. Thor barely said 2 words an I still thought they had a punch

I think hes going for a Morrison style JLA gods and larger than life thing. Which is ironic, since Bendis wrotes everyone like a 13 year old girl. Less is more works far better in this case

Best part is, they transitioned to the whole 'we need more avengers' thing in an organic way. And its ultra accessible but the starting 6 are the guys from the movie

I wasnt expecting to, but honestly, i was impressed and genuinely enjoyed reading it. More from Hickman pls

Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Vol. 2

I'm sponsoring a little boy for Christmas (gift giving to single mothers and children of domestic abuse) and the kid I chose wants Spider-Man stuff. I got him the new movie on DVD, some Spidey PJs, and an action figure of Spidey and Lizard from the new movie and a Green Goblin one. He just asked for those, but I also ordered the Ulitmate Spider-Man Collection Vol. 1 trade as an extra gift. He's 8, so he will at least enjoy the pictures.

Daredevil: End of Day continues to be awesome. Bendis sure knows how to write great Daredevil stories.

Killing Robin is so late 80s. If Damian is killed, they'll just Lazurus Pit him.
