@ Bubz

Watched Safety Not Guaranteed and thought it was very good. Love the quirkiness to it and found it quite funny at times. It's very original considering it's an indie comedy/somewhat sci-fi flick. I just really wanted to know what would happen in the end. Good acting and good script. Cute little film.

One of my faves of the year.

Just watched some of Tron: Legacy on Starz and remembered how much I enjoyed it when it came out. How did you guys like the movie when it came out in 2010.

Its as funny as it is dark some great chemistry from Pena/Gyllenhaal. The real strength in this movie is its characters and how the real they come across . This is mostly due to the dialogue which is top notch to the point even a fumble doesn't seem out of place. The result takes a cookie cutter plot into something more , something awesome.

8.5/10
right! Fucking loved this movie, my MOTY, won't get any recognition though.

Anyways, I watched Your Father's Murderer: A Letter To Zachary the other night and fuck, it's moving and quite emotionally exhausting. It features some cheesy melodramatic documentary effects but it didn't hinder my enjoyment much. I've never seen a documentary deliver a narrative in way this film did. Fuck whatever you are doing and watch this film.

Gutwrenching stuff. Don't know how the grandparents coped as well as they did.

I'm pretty ill with glandular fever at the moment and have a sick note for 2 weeks off Uni/Work so I have a lot of free time at the moment other than my studies so I plan on watching a lot of movies. I already have Apocalypse Now, And Justice For All, Gone Baby Gone and Good Will Hunting planned, and I'm going to get started on watching Sons of Anarchy.

You guys got any recommendations?

Yeah, think it's going to be Argo. Like you said, I've never liked Bond much, and I'd rather pay for something I'm more likely to enjoy. Not saying I won't Like Skyfall, because I liked Casino Royale quite a bit.

Glad you liked it, I like that type of quirky indie movie, and this was one of the best examples of that style imo. Loved it.
