Indeed. Loved it.

He'd be sure to tell us and that we're out of our element, too.

Watched Moonrise Kingdom and End of Watch.

In all honesty, I found Moonrise Kingdom to be quite boring and expected a little better. As for End of Watch, I thought it was awesome. It had humor and drama and felt very real. If you haven't seen it already, go check it out.

I'm 100% with you on End of Watch. My Movie of the year, no doubt. But I did find moonrise kingdom amazing as well; yet I can see people not liking it, so you're definitely not alone. I think it helps if you look at it as the over exaggeration of a child hood dream (ie. running away, getting the girl, finding the perfect family). then you can see the mockery and humility of it.

I wached Yes Man and Hot Tub Time Machine, both expectantly hilarious movies.

What is everyone's opinion on Sam Worthington? I like hte guy a whole lot and think his career is starting off perfectly (action into serious movies).

The lead dame from Moonrise Kingdom = IMO.

then I find out she's only like 14. Sounds about right with me.

I love the whole 'running away with a girl and finding the perfect family' but I just felt as though there was no real climax to the film. It felt a little bland. It's a cute film and can understand why people find it awesome. I would watch it again though to get a second opinion.

End of Watch is up there for me as well. The relationship between Brian and Mike is really great. Some of the jokes were hilarious. Want to watch it again now (lol).

Both Yes Man and Hot Tub are really easy to watch and both have some really funny scenes. I'm not huge fan of comedies but these two were pretty good.

Can't wait for GANGSTER SQUAD!

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Well science says dames are developing at a faster rate nowadays. I'm gonna blame that.

(like I care regardless...)

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

yeah, Moonrise Kingdom seemed like a last ditch effort to wrap it up; again, why I don't blame you for not loving it; you're not the only one. I actually didn't like it at first, but then watched it drunk and loved it, then again sober, and loved it again.

my main worry is 'End of Watch' will get over looked. Hailsabin, is Scizor really that amazing. I'm all about Flygon right now?

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Scizor is BOSS. Flygon is legit too. So underrated. Probably because it's a dragon that doesn't wallop a mega move asap like Hyper Beam.

This makes me think of awesome childhood memories like watching Pokemon the movie in theaters. Damn that movie was intense. Mewtwo didn't fuck around.
