Is that Malick's project with Christian Bale? Don't know why he decided to make a movie so soon after Tree of Life. Man works best with at least a 10 year gap between his projects. He has on with Ryan Gosling coming up soon too I think.

Not the one with Bale, i thought it was but after a little research it is called To the wonder.

It's got Ben Affleck in it. The Bale film is one of two movies Malick's supposed to have coming out next year.

Actually, scratch that. Supposed to have 3 next year with two starring Bale

I'm confused so are portman and blanchett also in them both? or is IMDB fucked up and it's just one movie but listed twice? also has gosling and rooney mara?

I honestly don't know much about The Master but from the tv spots Pheonix looks like he'll be putting on another oscar worthy performance.

I think they're two different films. One's called Knight of Cups and the other had the working title Lawless (obviously won't be the actual title due to this year's film). They may be connected though with Bale, Blanchett, Portman playing the same characters.

Wonder why Malick got the sudden urge to make so many movies in a short time. Not complaining since he usually makes great stuff. Top notch cast too.

I can imagine the Scientologists are getting ready to sue someone because of The Master. They never take any criticism well.

So fucking excited for Malick's latest projects. He's one of my favourite directors ever. One of his 2013 films has Bale and Gosling in

. To The Wonder (this years film) sounds like the usual Malick stuff, so I'm pretty sure it'll end up being one of my favourites of the year. Have a feeling The Master will be the best movie this year though tbh. Killing Them Softly also looks/sounds like something I'm going to love.

Also. Thin Red Line had GARY FUCKING OLDMAN cut out of it (and numerous other people) apparently and that's a brilliant film.

I found out they are making the last Hunger Games book into two movies. This definatly shouldn't be happening. I can understand HarrPotter since there's nothing you can cut really but you could probably fit Mockingjay into a 2 2 and 1/2 hour movie.

It's just a way to double profits. I'm not a fan of splitting up books into 2 movies either, but financially it makes a lot of sense.

I think if it's a book worthy of being split up, then I am all for it. I think Peter Jackson can make a an epic 9 hour movie from The Hobbit. I also think it was good idea to make Harry Potter 7 into a 5 hour two part movie then just the typical 2-3 hour film.
