AMC did a Friday the 13th marathon last week and a Halloween marathon this week. Needless to say my DVR has been filled with nothing but horror movies.

Yeah I liked that new Friday The 13th flick and i'm normally not a big fan of slasher/horror flicks.

I thought Hitman was okay. Not bad, not good.
Haven't seen PoP, I just remember the super corny part of the trailer with Gyllenhaal yelling "give me the dagger!" with a really forced accent and thinking Why the fuck is Sir Ben Kingsley in a Video Game movie.

Now you know how much I care to remember that movie.
Speaking of nudity in Friday The 13th remake: America Olivo shows the goods within 5 minutes and she doesn't in the whole of Bitch Slap. Ironic much. Random segway into bringing up Bitch Slap. Yeah.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
Cloud Atlas was cool, not really so great, but cool. The deep meaning behind it all is really weak but covered up by good actors and special effects.

I thought they could have done a better job of the visual of Bane breaking him though, it looked weak imo and it was built up for almost 5 mins and I found it kind of anti-climatic.

Completely agree, I thought the entire scene was actually really powerful.
Watched Book Of Eli the other night, wasn't bad but it wasn't very good either.

Yep. Nothing beats a sleeping bag kill from a Jason movie like Jason X though. My word. Funnier than comedies.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I hated Mila Kunis in that movie too. Really wanted her to get raped/killed/abducted by aliens. Her walking out into the wasteland by herself at the end was hilariously bad.

It was stupid. It didn't come as a surprise, and it wasn't a big enough thing to make a twist out of. Like, why did they think anyone would be like 'OMG HE'S BLIND GUYZ!'. It was nothing. To be honest I wasn't paying much attention for parts of it. Pretty much the definition of a 'meh' movie. You know it's not very good when GARY OLDMAN can't even get you interested in it. And yeah, Mila Kunis was annoying as fuck. I don't like her in anything though, not even Black Swan and I loved that film.
