Re: General Movie Discussion Part II (part III coming soon)

Shane Black directed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with RDJ and not only is that an awesome film but one of RDJ's best performances, so hopefully they can recreate that magic in this.

Rockwell is indeed awesome and Moon was great. He has a good résumé of great performances in small-ish films to his name too:

Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind
Matchstick Men
Choke
Frost/Nixon
Everybody's Fine

He's also in The Assassination of Jesse James but I'm yet to see that.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II (part III coming soon)

Shane Black got paid like 2 million dollars for the screenplay for Last Boy Scout back in the day, that was money well earned, it takes a special kind of writer to have Bruce Willis reunite with his wife at the end by telling her
"fuck you Sarah, fuck you, youre a lying bitch and if the cops weren't here I'd spit in your face"
and still make this a legit romantic moment in the context of the movie, respect to him for that.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II (part III coming soon)

Watched The Sunset Limited, thought it was very good. I had my doubts about watching two men talk about God for 90 minutes but it kept my attention the whole movie. Samuel L. Jackson in particular was awesome, as usual. (Great list/recommendations blarg!)

Anyone know of any similar, small-cast movies? It was a lot better than I thought.

Concerning sequels, The Wolverine will definitely be better than the first one. I actually liked the first one, but wouldn't call it great. From what I've read, the sequel will own.

I was never really a fan of X-Men or any of the caracthers from X-Men but I hope Wolverine will be good. The guy is a pretty big badass
