Yeah, it can definitely be an advantage, or disadvantage. Love Exposure actually does sound really epic, I'd already heard of it, and with blarg then mentioning it too, I'm gonna' check it out soon.

LOTR is a fair menntion. Titanic is too and I've seen that dozens of times. It's only a process. Once the film gets going, time is generally irrelevant.

I can't tell you how long it took for Winter's Bone to finish over something like The Dark Knight. The former was barely 90 minutes where as the latter was well over 120. Interest goes a long way.

Yeah, and if you someone who keeps the time on the screen while watching (thinking media player or something) goes a long way too, haha, but interest/quality is always most important, long or short.

I do via default of using the VLC player. Can't escape the time when it stares you in the face. Love Exposure once it begins: One side will say 0:01 & on the other will say 3:58:some change. Intimidating? Perhaps.

Does the sound not go if you move to full screen with VLC? It can be like it with wrestling too, if it's the main event, and you see the time approaching it's finish, it could be /annoying/intimidating, but with media player(/most things) you have the option.

A DVD player I used to have had the time ticking by on the front, and it was damn frustrating. Even with the light off I could see it so I was always reminded of how long remained in the film. Only a small thing but it always irritated me.

Implying you've lost sound when expanding the video? I've never had that problem when using VLC.

No I mean does the display of the time not go/disappear when you take VLC into full screen mode? It does on mine.

Also, what do people of the think of the James Bond series, just generally? Not that I haven't seen any, but I'm going to watch the series.

I like some of them, but I'll never really call myself a James Bond fan. Although since Craig took over I've been a little more interested.

Ahhh. No, it stays for me. I could always fiddle around with it and change things up.

Most are brilliant. I'm a huge fan of the Bond franchise as a whole. Some are along the lines of camp (Moonraker, Diamonds are Forever) & some are very well done. Excellent status as a movie and/or as a Bond flick. (Goldeneye, Casino Royale, Skyfall, Goldfinger, & in my opinion, Live & Let Die) Daniel Craig's slew of films are stellar. It's given new life to the franchise as a whole. Putting the bar very high to where Bond movies can go in this day and age. You've seen those ones, right? You'll love them if you haven't. Guessing you'll start all the way from Dr. No - Skyfall. Which is going to be a heck of a journey. Totally worth it in my eyes. Bond marathons are usually a blast. Especially if you're immersed right from the outset.
