The should make the prequel about The Rock/Sam Jax team...

Would be the first time in ages The Rock would be in a movie i'd think about watching in the theater.

Anchorman is his best. But I am a fan. Regardless, Eva Mendes should've gotten more (her gasp when Ferrell who's baby is that elicited a ridiculous from yours truly) and Keaton is a comic genius.

That would be pushing it...

May the odds be ever in your favor...

And IMO Anna Karina>>>> Jean Seberg. Even with the beauty that Seberg is in Breathless
Yeah definitely. I'm going on a New Wave kick recently, I've got some films ready to watch in the next week actually. These are on my list along with most of Melville's work...

Numero Deux
Week End
Two Or Three Things I Know About Her
Le Mepris
Alphaville
Pierrot Le Fou
Vivre Sa Vie
Contempt

I know there's tons more, but I'm trying to get the more well known stuff watched first, would you say that's a good selection? I went off of his top rated movies from Rotten Tomatoes, figured that'd be the easiest way to get started with his stuff.

And yeah, Karina was stunning too, but there was something about Seberg in breathless that really got me. Not to mention every time she looked directly into the camera it gave me chills. Almost like she was looking directly into your fucking soul lol.

I really like anchorman. But I feel like Talladega Nights is slightly better.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

I enjoyed TN a lot more.

Probably due to that movie being the peak of Amy Adams' hotness.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Are we talking about Will Ferrell movies? I hope someone mentioned Elf or The Other Guys. My favorite movie he is in is still Zoolander.

Also John C Reilly was a beast in that movie.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Nah, Amy Adams peaked when she went topless in Sunshine Cleaning and nearly nude in The Fighter.

PEAKED is the correct word.
