LOVE that opening, out of nowhere it just jumps right into the song (which is KICKASS) and all that weird shit going on the whole time. Tattoo is my fave film of the decade so far, I've seen it like a dozen times and it just never gets old.
In Bruges was a good call, im in the minority that thinks it loses a bit of steam in the second hour but still most def worth a look.
and speaking of Brendan Gleeson, anyone who wants to see a really stunning performance by him chack out The General, directed by John Boorman its a grim (with a lot of black comedy)movie about a famous Irish gangster, John Voight is great in it too as a cop. Kevin Spacey made an awful movie about the same story (Ordinary Decent Criminal), avoid that one.
edit- oh and The Guard with Gleeson and Don Cheadle is a great comedy too

Kingdoms rise, kingdoms fall. Pretenders reach for the throne but only Caesar can rule and the pretenders fade away. What does it all mean? In the words of Marcus Aurelius, the universe is change, our life is what our thoughts make it. And my thoughts are this, everybody in this room, is going to get rich.
when I was in college I lived in a house that had no cable tv and the only dvd we had was Boogie Nights so we'd end up watching it over and over, never got sick of it, I could probably act the whole thing out (sex scenes an all) Ive seen it that many times
