Agreed. Nothing like Superbad other than the projected age of the main characters. That's about it.

Oh, and to comment on Brye marking for The Incredibles, I'm 100% with ya on that. It's fantastic.

Off the very top of my head, watch 'In Bruges'. There's no Gosling in it, I swear.

Only Farrell & Gleeson. Good pick.

I'll find a streaming or d/l link atm. Bonkers I don't own it yet.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

In Bruges was a good call, im in the minority that thinks it loses a bit of steam in the second hour but still most def worth a look.

and speaking of Brendan Gleeson, anyone who wants to see a really stunning performance by him chack out The General, directed by John Boorman its a grim (with a lot of black comedy)movie about a famous Irish gangster, John Voight is great in it too as a cop. Kevin Spacey made an awful movie about the same story (Ordinary Decent Criminal), avoid that one.

edit- oh and The Guard with Gleeson and Don Cheadle is a great comedy too

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Boogie Nights is unfuckwithable.

when I was in college I lived in a house that had no cable tv and the only dvd we had was Boogie Nights so we'd end up watching it over and over, never got sick of it, I could probably act the whole thing out (sex scenes an all) Ive seen it that many times
