My one regret is not watching enough television.

Actually, the people who vote always vote for various reasons and it isn't always because the film or performance is great. Ignoring the age thing, it is still my opinion she doesn't deserve the nod. There were several performances far superior to hers, it is by far the worst on the list.

I am watching what is by default the greatest movie ever made at this moment. Ok fine to its a concert film but still.

Bruce Springsteen - Live in New York.

I have the album but never seen the concert all the way through. Classic Boss, love it.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

I'm wondering why the concert film has THUNDER FUCKIN' ROAD on it, yet its not on the CD and Mansion on the Hill is.

Does not compute.

Man watching Max fucking tear it up on the drums is pretty awesome.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

The best thing Aronofsky ever did in fact was not Black Swan but rather having THE BOSS write and perform the theme song to The Wrestler.

Suck it Cody.

Aronofsky's best film was Requiem for a Dream.

Is it a movie? I think for a moment that it was an anti-drug spot.... one friend called it the "drugs are bad.... the movie"

No shit. I felt like I needed a hug after Requiem for a Dream. Hopefully from Jennifer Connelly.

Call Kenny Loggins. Cause you're in the Danger Zone.
