Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I just watched Pedro Almodovar's 'The Skin I Live In'. Not exactly what I expected but still pretty good nonetheless. It raises some interesting philosophical questions and questions the 'falseness' of today's society. The pacing was a little off, as it seemed to jump from philosophical study to thriller almost at will. The intricate, classical soundtrack almost made it feel like an opera, or a romantic tragedy of some sort. I'd probably only give it a 6/10, but still worth a watch for anyone that enjoys world cinema.
