Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I don't let critics decide for me what movies I should watch. I can think for myself, and usually the critics are wrong anyways.
On that note, Gangster Squad was okay but not as good as I thought. Just seemed a bit forced sometimes.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I'll be interested to see how you do rank the others. Sadly I haven't watched that many of his movies, only a select few, but The Thing is my favourite from him. As you may have guessed...

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
Just watched the Director's Cut of Daredevil. Was surprised on how much i enjoyed it, truly a case of studio meddling messing a potentially good film

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I watched Monsters Inc today. It's absolutely glorious. Don't remember it being that good. Easily top 5 Pixar films. For me, Pixar have 5 near masterpieces under their belt which is pretty incredible.

maybe it's because I'm from Philly so I'm a little Bias, but Silver Linings Playbook was amazing.

Yes! I love that film. How would you rank Pixar's films? I'd probably have something like this:
Toy Story 2
Monsters Inc.
Toy Story
The Incredibles
Finding Nemo
Wall-E
Up
Toy Story 3
Ratatouille
A Bug's Life
Cars
I haven't seen Cars 2 or Brave so they aren't included.
This is only off the top of my head without re-watching anything, but even so that's a hard list to make. Toy Story 3 and Ratatouille are great films and yet I've got them pretty low because of the quality of others. I might re-order it later if I have a change of heart.

The Pixars are brilliant, nothing more to say here. Just seen Stolen with N.Cage. Good movie, with very good action

Generally the Toy Story series is the best things they've done for me, a very illustrious record though.
