Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Underrated? I thought that at first. Now it seems like most know it's a pretty excellent Bond film. Highly ranked by a lot it seems. Which I fully agree with. It's always been my personal pick for #1.

they mean Brosnan. I didn't even spot the error.

I assumed so. I think if Charles Bronson was ever James Bond he wouldn't be driving an Aston Martin, he'd be riding a horse!

I bet if he would have be a Bond it would increase McQueen's interest in the franchise.

bit of an inside joke, I won't lie. Some will get it.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

I'm glad some people get it because I don't.

After recently finally seeing the two Timothy Dalton Bond movies, I think his "world weary" portrayal of the Bond was really great but is easy to overlook because hes been in less movies than the others. Not that i've read the books but supposedly Dalton was closest to Ian Fleming wrote him anyways.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Connery and Craig are my favourite Bonds, and Criag is pushing the Scot pretty closely to best. Loved Skyfall and Casino Royale, plus QoS wasn't a bad film.

As for the others, don't really care for Moore, Lazenby or Dalton. Brosnan had a fantastic start to his Bond career, GoldenEye is in my top 3 Bond films. But after that he had two mediocre films and the shitstain that was Day Another Day. God I hate that movie!
